Google ON THE TOP

Come this September it has been nine years since the advent of Google and it’s been rated as the best place to work for.

"You can make money without doing evil," "You can be serious without a suit," and, "Work should be challenging and the challenge should be fun,"

These quotes, let us know about it’s cool and composed corporate culture. Google is able to attract the best talent since they provide a employee friendly environment.

Few of the mantras behind their success are:

• Employees are free to work anywhere in the office.
• Employees are provided with free meals and transportation in and around the office.
• Employees are provided with medical assistance, massage centers and gym inside the office.

Moreover, recreational amenities are scattered throughout the campus and include locker rooms, washers and dryers, assorted video games, Foosball, a baby grand piano, a pool table, and ping pong. In addition to the rec room, there are snack rooms stocked with various cereals, gummy bears, toffee, licorice, cashews, yogurt, carrots, fresh fruit, and dozens of different drinks including fresh juice, soda, and make your own cappuccino.

All Google engineers are encouraged to spend 20% of their work time (one day per week) on projects that interest them. Some of Google's newer services, such as Gmail, Google News, Orkut, and AdSense originated from these independent endeavors.

Now who does not want to work in Google?
